Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We won't...calm down mate.

You're have a mini breakdown.

Go and put the kettle on and I'll come round and rub your shoulders for you.
Thankfully mate football is not my life, I’m just calling it as it is. The fact we aren’t prepared for the new season when we knew what needed doing is just so wrong. I have seen this club win stuff, I am lucky, but I really wanted the younger generations to experience it and I thought the new owners would start to bring it back. So far they are looking woeful at best, sure they can turn it around, but they are leaving it late.

Whatever happens from this point on it’s quite clear that this summer has been poorly planned and executed at pretty much every level.
Everton football club plc have no impact, say, effect, cast so much as a shadow on moves from other clubs, being, for instance, wirtz £115m, ekitike £70m, sesko £67m, diaz £66m, mbeumo £65m, gyokeres £55m, etc. You see, a certain set of clubs have been able to throw money around like confetti, and bully for them, unfortunately we are not allowed into that little group and have to operate in a more fiscally fiduciary manner.
But there's another problem, clubs with assets on the books want top dollar, and they're prepared to dig their heels in, either overpay and we can all have a night out on the excess, or struggle on with nothing.

All the crying about it in between isn't really going to help a great deal. There's laughs ahoy about the isak and newcastle situation, but then some wanting dibling to do similar and drop the dirty on southampton for the betterment of Everton. Some of the support isn't living in the real world.

But but but NSNO though lad!

We set a record last season, the direct free kick Young scored in the league registered as the FK scored by the oldest player ever to score such a goal in PL history. We dropped 11 players this summer. Staying in the league got Dyche paid more for his efforts. It's all money, it's all waste, we are playing catch up and have been kicked in the teeth twice with points deductions. It's taken decades to ruin the club, it's not recoverable in one summer. It took a prolonged spending effort by the big oil boyos at city to get them their place at the top table.

Time for a bit of reality.
