Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

His not good enough to be valued for £50m at the moment and we would have to do the development work ourselves.

What’s annoying is that the recruitment team cannot find any decent wingers that we are looking at getting fleeced by Southampton for a prospect.

I wouldn’t mind if it was a £35m fee with a sell on clause but £50m ?

Nah

I think folks are so desperate for signings that thier judgement is getting clouded

we will have winger nxt week

dunno if it’s this one tho

They’re pulling a Gnonto on us lads.

Thinking back on it we were already in breach of PSR and simultaneously chasing him at the same time.

Running down the clock.

Looks like its £45mil they want for him when they came back to Everton with their best price.

£37.5mil to £45mil is a £7.5mil difference.

How is this deal not done.

As an Everton fan from the South Coast I have seen Dibling from his early days when he scored a very impressive first half hat trick against Newcastle as a 16 year old (there is video footage somewhere) in an U18 game.
The lad definitely has the ability to move on to become a top class player.
To my mind he looks a lot like Matt Le Tissier in his early days eg his skill on the ball, mazy dribbles etc etc.
He is not as good as MLT on free kicks or in the air but he is a bit quicker.
He needs to be better against the ball but so did MLT.
Whether he is worth what Southampton are looking for is up to the Everton Board to determine but with a good attitude and better players around him Dibling could become a real star. He definitely is talented AND I understand Southampton are prepared to do a deal as he is not on a long term contract as is the case with Fernandes, the midfielder, who was head and shoulders the best player in a poor Southampton team last season.

I've said it before but you can smell the desperation on us.

We can't go with what we've got so we can over pay for Sibling or over pay for the alternative.

We're not getting good value at this point.
