Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I wouldn’t be surprised if we now have limited cash to spend for one of two reasons:

- budget reduced to reflect more realistic view of final position in league table (for example difference between 10th and 17th is over £20m)

- TFG have reduced the budget due to disappointing transfers so far (for example Barry and Aznou have potential but they’re not ready now)
To be clear, you think our owners have significantly reduced the budget they had previously agreed because:

- We lost our opening game narrowly

- Two players that they, either directly, or indirectly via their specific Recruitment Team executive appointees, signed off on have not proven themselves to be world class after a few weeks in training/one game in which one of them featured as a sub?

Is there any possibility this might just be the latest in an increasingly long like of miserable posts from you, and not actually rooted in anything resembling either facts or common sense?

I expect nothing until the last 2/3 days. And then it'll be odds and ends from the bargain basement.

I certainly wouldn't rule out the likes of Vardy.

The club is like an engine encased in rust and they've applied a couple of sprays of WD to it when we really need a new engine.

We're in a lot of trouble now. No more Goodison to get us the atmosphere to make a few points more that could be crucial.
Wouldn't even bet on Vardy. Being linked to Celtic.
Think at his age, the choice between a bit of silverware, CL appearances and whatever it is that we offer, it's no choice at all.

How can you say they determine Barry and Aznou disappointing at the point of purchase 🤣

They haven’t even played

That’s a RAWK point of view if ever I seen one
Your mask is slipping further and further

I know people are probably turning their nose up at Vardy but he actually scored more league goals than all our strikers last season in a poor team. I’m taking him above Chermiti all day.

He’d probably end up being our starting striker
I would get Vardy and lash whatever is left not much on a right back or right winger or both if we can sell a few players before the window shuts.

Desperate times and all that.

Because it absolutely stinks of desperation at a time of this supposedly being our new era. New stadium, new ownership, new players, money to spend, and we get Jamie Fu***** Vardy, its actually embarrassing.
