Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Right back has never been a priority. All the noises from the club and moyes suggest they think we’re ok in that position.

We put a half hearted offer in for Tete but nothing after that.

We’ve exhausted all our options for right wing.

There’s been no substantial links to any centre midfielders this window either.

They don’t know what they’re doing.

They’re just going to wait to see who becomes available on loan and panic on deadline day.

Hopefully we do just enough to be competitive because this squad as it stands won’t be competitive.

This unfortunately is the reality….

Long hard season ahead again.

Hoping Grealish can be the game changer we know he can be to help us along the way.

I know Moyes was banging on about the mole etc. but there is no links coming out.... oh sorry i lied some lunatic linked us to Vardy.

I take it the Bobble has been shot and they no one is allowed to talk to the press anymore?

Not forgetting the new and emerging conspiracy theory on here, that Dickie Masters and the Premier League are conspiring to keep at least one of the newly promoted teams up this season, at the expense of one of the long established plodders in the league ( us )
Yep, apparently the Lino missing the ball going out for a corner on Monday was a clear indicator of this

Is any of this true?

Isn't this whole shebang just the Premier LKeague/Sky script?

Some massive value transfers for the Sly 6 early doors setting a new high for fee's for mid-tier players which effectively stifles all the 'crumb-chasing' pack of teams and means they have to either bite the bullet and pump the majority of their PSR-rigged budget on one mediocre player or wait until D-Day when the Sly 6 offload their deadwood to the highest bidder.
It suits the perceived agenda that nobody, even the Sheikh cash-laden clubs like Newcastle, can even attempt to challenge the status quo. Leicester winning the Premier League had as big an effect on it's future as the Bosman ruling....it hastened the lock-down of the top of the Premeir League to protect the TV cash-cow teams and in turn maintain the control of what was 'our' game by the media and their shills.

Top and bottom of it is there'll be virtually no deals done pre-deadline day by anyone (bar seemingly Forest who's owner seems on a one-man mission to 'build-or-bust' his club. It means everyone in the following pack is effectively 3 lots of game points behind when the window slams shut, and Sky have a guaranteed audience for 24hrs as everyone is glued to the yellow-headline screen.

Yes.

Was reported by paddy boyland that right back wasn’t seen as a priority weeks ago.

He says on his latest podcast that we’ve gone through our shortlist at right wing and I don’t see any interest in centre mids.

Also it’s the 20th of august and we haven’t seen any right backs, right wingers, or centre mids in the door.
