He was bullied every time the ball went near him last night, their centre halves had Jim in their pocket. Saying that isolated, hardly any service of note or support, apart from the money it must be horrendous being an Everton centre forward.

As we used to hear every week with Dom, he didn't get any service at all yesterday. Alcaraz, Iroegbunam, and KDH constantly coughing up the ball to nobody in a blue shirt is why we didn't get a single shot in the first half.
You can blame Beto all you want but it was 28 minutes before we managed a touch in the final third and that's not his fault despite how much you all miss DCL.

Beto was an unknown quantity last year and he reaped the rewards.

He had a shocker last night imo. To be fair very few of them covered themselves in glory.
How he reacts to that performance now is what is important. Any player can have a bad game, it happens, just work twice as hard next time.

The reason he scored them goals last season is because he had service, balls played in front of him, can't remember anything like that last night, mainly just balls pumped up to him and as we know that's not his game, Leeds bullied him and every Everton player last night, they were helped by inept officials who turned a blind eye to just about anything.

Did we get behind them at all last night? I wouldn’t count JOB lumbering to the byline. We had a mini break after Ndiaye’s flick, but don’t think we once got behind their CBs. Unacceptable lack of creativity.
Yes, the service into Beto was awful. Coupled with taking short throw ins at his face whilst he was double marked.
That said, he was super static all game. Didn’t move the CBs around at all and didn’t for anything over the top or into channels. Played the whole game like he was in a bad mood, as did Illy. Face like a smacked arse from the start both of them.

There's more to being a Premier League centre forward than just goals, we need him to be a focal point, bring others into play, win a few duels, he was awful last night, granted the service to him was woeful, if he doesn't score he's just a passenger, and in a team like ours we need more from him, he's a big lad he shouldn't be getting bullied by PL novice centre halves, I like the lad, his enthusiasm but for me he has to do more
