First summer window with a net spend higher than the previous 4/5 combined
New football leadership team yet to be fully in place - arguably could have retained previous DOF for consistency this summer but that would have been criticised
Financial stability and debt restructured
State of the art stadium always going to drive price increases - that’s part of the point - it’s a revenue generator.
Move to a bigger house, pay more in bills / council tax etc
Goodison retained (no asset stripping there)
Plenty to suggest things have changed and will continue to change for the better but we all have a decision whether we pay the price they want us to.
If anyone thought we’d flip from being systematically crap to great in one summer then you haven’t been watching!
Last night was crap. We will get turned over much worse this season as is always the case. We will ultimately improve this year though. Building takes time

Wonder if dan will have the decency to show up for our first home game at our new ground...it would be good, because if we were to lose the game (at this stage likely) and still no significant incoming by then (again unfortunately likely), the uproar at the end will be something to behold in front of the sky cameras too. I guess he will not show up...
