No, it wouldnt.Lots of reasons really
We need to get off to a decent start and back to back losses in winnable matches would be the opposite of a decent start. Yesterday's loss puts more pressure on this match.
We need to make sure we have a good home record this year because changing stadium can be a tricky transition. The earlier we get the first win the better. It will become a hurdle to overcome mentally if we go on a winless run at home.
I don't want a relegation battle this year - that would be completely unacceptable. And getting off to another terrible start would make a relegation battle pretty inevitable.
We lost our first 4 matches last season and ended up in trouble and had to sack a manager in January. Another terrible start would mean it's inevitable we get in trouble. I would back Moyes to get us out of trouble, but why get in trouble in the first place. No, it wouldnt.
Did it last season? season before?
But you're saying that a relegation battle would be 'inevitable', which is patently false?..We lost our first 4 matches last season and ended up in trouble and had to sack a manager in January. Another terrible start would mean it's inevitable we get in trouble. I would back Moyes to get us out of trouble, but why get in trouble in the first place.
I find it baffling how people do not see the importance of a good start if we want to improve.
We haven't won an August league game in 4 years, and have had 3 straight terrible seasons. I don't understand how this point can be argued tbh.
Have a heart! The poor lad doesnt know what's hit him!Start barry please
We're a zombie club with pretences of grandeur.Second game of the season and i am already thinking CBA. There is nothing even the slightest bit entertaining about us currently.
