Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

What’s the plan now? Wait for Southampton to phone us? Monitor another full back?
Like the speed machine Wolves just signed. Leeds announced another signing too.

We're just very laissez faire in the market . Not suggesting we should hsve signed either of those 2 players, the right players need bringing in but we also need numbers. Difficult balance but the pedestrian pace of our transfer dealings, is, and always has been very frustrating.

Probably because they were flogged to death in pre season due to us having about 14 useable players throughout it. Likely another reason why we’re picking up loads of injuries.
Isn't it funny how so many people buried their heads to ignore these issues and not see yesterday coming? Now they're in disbelief that we're verging on crisis of signings aren't made asap.

Mate for starters even I could've literally picked an XI and a setup last night myself that wouldnt have had people saying 'what on earth is the plan here?' like they were doing at 6.45 last night. Even the Sky presenters were confused.. and then Moyes himself gave off the vibe pre game that we were winging it? what sort of message does that put out about your level of coaching & preparation for a Premier League game??

It’s always going to look makeshift when you don’t have a right back, a left back or a right winger. The club are at least as culpable as the players/Moyes for last night.

I said at the time we should have thrown some more money at Tete. £25k a week or so. Now only Mrs Tete would have even noticed that, but apparently in a window where Brentford are buying £40 million players, it would have marked us out to the whole of Europe as a soft touch.
