What is the script with the New Zealand stuff?
I guess they're saying he got outplayed in this game:

So you've highlighted an issue if thats the case. The Exceptional Operators did because they felt he was the answer.
Aye same. Clearly had his reasons I guess.Way to deal with that is to play a back three: surprised he didn't do that

Our recruitment team isn't running parallel with the manager.
I personally don't trust the Corporate Middle manager brought in above Moyes.
They will be driven by a need to impress the overlords back in Texas,Moyes just wants a team that will compete.
He isn't making decisions based on ego in my opinion, but I think he is trying to apply pressure in certain places which he's right to do.
You could be right but maybe after him spending a couple of hours with David Brent and his slick do'd sidekick,Moyes has thought these 2 ain't up to scratch. My belief is that a manager should be the person recruiting.
However, he's agreed to a job where he knows there'll be a committee above him. And he had players bought for him at WHU I believe.
Maybe it's just here he thinks he makes every decision?
He has an inflated opinion of his standing at this club, that's for sure.
He'll find out how much credibility and status he's really got if he's not careful.
The average premier league manager has a job for about 16 months. Be crazy to give a manager full say on the transfers as they’re going to be thinking short term to try and keep themselves in a job longer and once they’re booted a new manager will have to try and make a team from the previous managers players. My belief is that a manager should be the person recruiting.

If that's the case then we ARE knackered for sure. You could be right but maybe after him spending a couple of hours with David Brent and his slick do'd sidekick,Moyes has thought these 2 ain't up to scratch.
I think Moyes sussed them out quickly and had decided to go in early in the press to apply maximum pressure on them to get recruitment sorted.
Whether we like Moyes our not he's been round the block enough times to know blaggers in the game and I think he knows Kinnear and Hammond are blaggers.
You only had to see Kinnear cobble together that "Everything is fine" interview after Moyes said recruitment was behind...He knows Moyes is on to him.
...and at the very worst time for us.The average premier league manager has a job for about 16 months. Feels like there’s a fair bit of conflict of the direction the club should take behind the scenes.
We’ve all made the assumption he was left out so we can hate on Moyes and the recruitment team. Was he injured yesterday? Where was he
He had a mare in the Roma game. Looked way out of his depth for me.Was he injured yesterday? Where was he
The manager should have an important say in current transfers, as it is they who need to integrate them into the squad and apply them to his tactics. The average premier league manager has a job for about 16 months. Just playing devil advocate here.If that's the case then we ARE knackered for sure.
That spells disaster. A house divided against itself etc.
The manager will be gone in short order under those circumstances and we'll have sleepwalked through this window into oblivion.
Moyes' job is to get us safe in a very difficult first season in a new stadium. He's jeopardising that.
