Issue he had in preseason and evident today...he has 5 technical, creative, numbers 10s and no idea to get them playing in an attacking sense.

Doesn't have a pacy wide player who'll stretch teams.

Missed Garner as a 6.

Playing out the back to...get nowhere as the 2 CMs dont want the ball.

He needs pace out wide (Dibbling isnt the answer IMO), but he's got enough to actually play some football

The manager is choosing the players to try and sign, no one else. He didn’t want to work with a DOF, this is all on him.

Surprised he didn't go with back three considering missing out and out full backs. I know it's not his formation of choice but sometimes needs must. Garner did ok considering but JOB was under pressure all night. Anyway I imagine many of us won't be giving out about Myko for a while.

Dino Dyche did, Mcneil went LWB. Think it worked.

He didn’t setup the team to try and win the game. I get it that he has no confidence in the players but he still has to do his best to win and tonight definitely wasn’t that.

Didn't want him back, he totally proved me wrong - but if today's level is where we are then he will be gone before long. That's unacceptable even despite a dodgy penalty call.

That said, can't remember a time we started a season really well so let's see how we are after 5-8 games

Did he though? I thought it was a given that any decent manager would keep us up. The real question was is he going to progress us to a point where we could get into top 4. So far he’s been given control over who he signs and doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing.

Not saying he's a great coach, but there is far worse out there. We aren't gonna buy a whole new backline to play pretty passes from goal kicks.

We need a manager like Iraola.

He's still there at Bournemouth and we missed the opportunity to get him.

People are looking at Moyes’s transfer record with rose tinted glasses. He was poor at West Ham and is poor when he had some money to spend. He’s having a shocker in this window.

comms said it and it was hardly a brain convention, Everton have spent how much and look a lot less as a side than they did last season.

A certain players energy and punishment absorption rate is very missing. It was called last season repeatedly.

leeds bullied us first half. Our lot were looking round at one another to see who was gonna face em down.

I'll tolerate a lot, but cowardice aint happening. Step up or step out. Time's up!

Getting in behind the defenders. He is strong and fairly pacy. He also his all the grace of a lump hammer.

Expecting him to hold up the ball is ridiculous.

I'm not saying he is perfect, far from it. But when you have a limited player it may be an idea to stay away from his weaknesses and not just play the same system regardless.

I don’t know Dave but that starting lineup was horrific and as soon as we saw it the majority of us were questioning it. Was he making a statement to the board due to the lack of signings? I don’t know but it wasn’t right that’s for sure.
