Problem with this is that the pen puts the focus on the ref. Not saying the ref didn't cost us the game but the more significant problems were the selection and tactics. We have a £100m player sitting on the bench for 70 mins when we're getting battered? Everyone can see KDH needs to be deeper after 5 mins - nothing changes for 70 mins? We have a young skillful LB doesn't even make the squad when our LB is out?

I know we need recruitment but that's on Moyes. It didn't have to be that bad - we were much better after the changes.

Also, how have we got serious injuries to key players during the effing warm up to the season before matches even start?

Terrible penalty decision aside, for the most part of that we were shocking. Couldn't string 2 passes together, everyone could see in pre season we were miles behind and that carried into tonight. Signings badly needed this week.

If we created nothing and Leeds also created nothing (aside from a dubious penalty) that usually means a draw.

Fairly sure Leeds had at least 3 shots on target out of a total of 21. We had nothing. We were rubbish in a game we should have won if we want to be moving forward.

Started the game with all manner of players out of position, and looked a shambles.

Isn’t that exactly what the ‘bed wetters’ were saying would happen all summer?

The fact that they won with a dodgy penalty will disguise the fact that Moyes and his tactical decisions in that first half absolutely atrocious, no other word for it. And to spend money on a striker and have him watch Beto and his hold up play tells me something about Thierno Barry ( he must be gash)

Really disappointed in that performance. The result was just about deserved from a very very poor side. And that's the worst part of it

True. I have no idea what Moyes was training the midfield to do in the days before this match, and apparently, nor did they.

They keep talking about him leaning into the ball as if he's made the decision to do that in the split second after the ball was deflected. He's made the conscious decision to move his body in that direction before the player even kicks the ball initially.

Leaning into the ball to block with his chest, very clearly trying to tuck his arm in. There we are its not about the sport of the game these days for much of the time. The powers that be, have the fairly tale to sell to sell to the masses.

Only positive might be the slim chance that a performance that bad sparks some transfer activity.

Dodgy penalty but we didn't deserve anything from that game. Dreadful tactics, unbalanced squad and poor performances. It's looking like yet another long season.

I think I used to enjoy the football but it's been so long that I'm not sure if that's accurate or not.

Train them better, do something.

VAR is so unfit for purpose, when the people controlling it have no idea.

They know exactly what they are doing. They do have an idea. It’s called corruption.

The marginally better team won, but they didn't deserve to win. They (you, as I'm assuming you're a Leeds fan) will struggle this year.
