It was that prick Chris Kavanagh who refused to give us a pen for that infamous Rhodri handball against City 3 years ago. He was on VAR that day.

Think O'Brien was given a rough task there, nothing in front of him at all and trying to do a job down the right on his own, which isn't really his natural game. A competent RW in there, along with a mobile DM and at least one of our LBs available and its a different story.

The tactics and subs do remind me though why I wasn't too upset to see Moyes leave first time round, hopefully just a blip on that front but not convinced.

He wasn’t giving any fouls against them either, even when they were blatant.

Start of every season since that Ancelotti season has been woeful. Slow to sign players in the transfer window, couple of injuries so we have players out of position and others that just aren’t good enough. Really not the summer we were promised is it?
