I will praise the club when we get the targets in. Until then any good work they have done so far is being undone and crumbling away with the lack of key additions. Biscuit hands in the negotiation room needs to clench a fist and push crucial deals through.

Genuine question as I don’t follow football outside of us really, but doesn’t Marco Asensio play on the right side and isn’t he available on loan? Not sure in his salary etc. Just a thought.

Mike, every fan is frustrated, however, we can see attempts to sign quality players and trust the manager and the current squad in the short term. The insane, bed-wetting bleating, ten times a day by multiple posters that we need a ‘rw/rb/cb/cm/st’ is beyond strange. Couple that with ‘jack Harrison and go with what we got’ posts and it’s just a cacophony of bed wetters.

I’m happy to reserve judgement until the window closes. The Branthwaite injury is unfortunate, otherwise I’d be saying we need bodies for the rigours of the season, not August.

If as I suspect we are operating more professionally now I’d expect we have some deals which will go right down to the wire to extract the best value. I’d also hope that we are operating stealth and we know nothing about these deals until they are done because that’s how the best clubs do it.
