And we retain all major first team players (not including Coleman, Gomes)

Then realistically looking through the squad, we would need the following.

Cover at lb/rb, we have Nkoukou returning this summer from Leige, so rb effectively.

Centre back we need at least one better than we have (mina aside) Sarr from Chelsea as an option. We have Godfrey, Braithwaite who hopefully develop.

We need a 'pivot' midfielder - Gilmour the obvious candidate as he's done it for Lampard before...

Sadly, it’s an only a few months respite before he reappears in Jan with more garbage.

This isn't just specific to Fellows btw; it's relevant to every target. It's not solely down to the manager; and nor should it be. Moyes is simply a cog in the machine and in all likelihood isn't going to be at Everton after the end of this season, so the club will bring in players for the club, for the balance sheet and for the future.

I agree with how it should be run
But unfortunately you’re wrong,
Moyes is in full control, yes it’s a team effort but he has the final say. It shouldn’t be like this and the recruitment should buy the players for the manager.
But that’s not how it is, Moyes is obsessed with mainly prem experience, we’re seeing With Grealish, KDH
McGinn, luiz, Tete, there’s other links to players like who have prem experience.

They majority of new starters this season,
Whether it’s 3, 4 or 5 will have prem experience
