Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We've fixed the most glaring issues in the squad, which is striker, a world class winger/no.10, left back depth, and quality in centre midfield.

Next up is a RW, cover for Gana and lastly either a RB or CB (which I think we could live without if we had to).

We've had to conduct a lot of business, and we're almost there. There will be a shed load of movement in the market in these next few weeks, and that goes for the majority of premier league clubs, not just us

Don't see what the issue is personally
If we were one of the sacred six we could of got our business done early
Unfortunately we are not so we have to.go with the best of what’s left
Players have turned us down because we are not in Europe and we have to accept that

No, he's [Poor language removed]
He scored more than any of our strikers last year despite that narrative around him.

I’m not necessarily saying he’s the one, but bar a couple of mentions on the echo podcast recently, no one seems to think we need a striker, I know other positions are seen as priority, but even if we have a 3 of ndaye, Grealish and Dibling, we won’t reach our potential if Beto is first or second choice.

I’m surprised Leicester are being so bullish over Fatawu’s valuation.

You would think they’re quite vulnerable given their profitability and sustainability position and would need to generate some income. Promotion chances diminished by a possible points deduction, and a poor start, suggesting they need to strengthen.
They’re getting done regardless so probably worth the gamble to get back up

7 signings and numerous failed bids, compared to other years we’ve been very busy. Fully expect another 3/4 but not as quick and easy to sign players as people expect. The nearer the window closes the
more clubs start playing mind games.

I still expect us to sort it bri

But like I’ve said we have to stick ourselves back on the football ladder

What?
Hojlund scored 4 goals in 32 games last season, Beto 8 in 30 (15 starts).
