It's true so it's possible,Or more like he preferred experienced players like he did at Real with the likes of Modric and Carvajal. I doubt he ignored Gordon for those reasons you suggested![]()

Oh yeah, good spot. Chat GPT produced stuffAlso Silva should be higher in the table than Dyche.
Dyche and Benitez shouldnāt be on this list. They need to be erased from our history.
Koeman ha ha haBy my reckoning we've had 11 Everton managers (excluding caretakers, i.e. managed less than ten games and counting Moyes mark 1 and 2) since 2000 and it's been a horribly lean period but what would be your ranking (based on their time at our club).
My "order of merit" would be:
I'd be interested in how everyone compares their tenures in charge of the club beyond simply the win ratio.
- Ancelotti
- Moyes (mark 2)
- Silva
- Koeman
- Moyes (mark 1)
- Martinez
- Smith
- Dyche
- Lampard
- Allardyce
- Benitez
For me, Ancelotti was a dream, I'm probably being sympathetic towards Smith (I was still a callow youth in my thirties), harsh on Allardyce (but the football was truly awful) and I never did and never would accept Benitez of our great club.
So Donny why not post your ranking?Koeman ha ha ha
Sorry Mikey but it's such a depressing listSo Donny why not post your ranking?
what????Ancelotti probably did more lasting damage than Dyche tbh
Ancelotti made a bunch of short sighted moves and then bailed when it didn't immediately work. It left us up the proverbial creek and it took time to rescue ourselves from it.what????
Spot on!Ancelotti probably did more lasting damage than Dyche tbh
