Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Imagine negotiating the best deal possible for the benefit of your club.

It’s just whether they are vulnerable or not. Over the years, Levy at Spurs has sensed it when a club needs to sell and has driven a hard bargain. See Richarlison from us, Maddison from Leicester and Johnson from Forest.

Of the three relegated, I would say Leicester are probably the most vulnerable to keeping hold of talent.

Grealish comes across as someone we've had on the back burner in case we don't get the players we actually want. I can't see any clear strategy considering we've reportedly got £150m to spend.
It seems like a deal we've been actively trying to tie down since the beginning of the window, here's the thing loan deals usually happen later in the window because even though we we're in contact with city throughout they were probably trying to sell him initially then as it got closer to the end of the window they opted to send him on loan. Hope this helps

Malick Fofana breaks silence on future amid Everton and Liverpool transfer interest:

"In football, anything can happen. If I stay, it will be by being happy to stay at Lyon. That's it, we'll see. It's not that I want to leave, but if we have a good opportunity, we'll see."

his representative Bobo Fofana disclosed "The choice of heart would be Liverpool," Fofana stated. "He has the potential to enter the rotation, and above all, we would like to see him succeed African legends such as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Elhadj Diouf.

"Now, the choice of reason would be Newcastle, a well-structured club that could be a first step to gain experience before, perhaps, joining a club in the European top five."

I don’t think any of that matters anymore
It normally does as they are the basics of how anyone trades really, but given only a couple of weeks go to until deadline day, it may well change depending on how desparate we are to fill positions on the right hand side vs Southamptons desparation to fill other positions following a big sale.

Just been on the fans forum there and quite a few posters say he is not worth what Southamptons are asking. One or two also mentioned another guy who may replace him who they say is a better prospect but I can’t recall his name.

Lads you’re a director of football nor qualified to be even a basic scout. You’re middle aged fatties sat in your undies playing fix Everton online, on a beautiful hot summer’s day.
Thank you for acknowledging my excellent work in Footy Manager, finally getting the respect I deserve!

Sorry, couldnt be bothered to read the rest of it, was quite long.
