Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Once wissa moves to Newcastle cos Brentford has just signed his replacement I think isak can move and we can see a larger movement as a result of that.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Moyes go in for Holjund
Oh joy...let's look forward to the RS getting probably the best striker in Europe just so we can get in line to overpay for some surly git with bad skin from Manure! Sorry, reading pages of this has just soured the season for me already and we havent kicked a ball:) I will see myself out:)

I’m surprised Leicester are being so bullish over Fatawu’s valuation.

You would think they’re quite vulnerable given their profitability and sustainability position and would need to generate some income. Promotion chances diminished by a possible points deduction, and a poor start, suggesting they need to strengthen.

It’s not quibbling. The kid is 19 years old and has done nothing. You either get the up front fee or you get to share in the upside of a future deal, not both. We’d look like marks in any future deal just to have a guy for a few games in one August where he doesn’t look match fit.
So you think this deal has stalled because of 25% attached to a profit margin that has not and may never be realised ?
Just to reemphasise, we would, in such an event , receive the original fee , plus an unknown figure in profit .
It is seems to me a bit small time to pull out because of what is an abstract amount .
There must be other concerns about the deal ( the method or timing of the full amount being received?)

Imagine negotiating the best deal possible for the benefit of your club.

Grealish is a mismatch when it comes to Moyes tacitic no matter how I think about it. KDH not so. It is obvious they are way down the list that compatibility is no longer in consideration and we have to sign someone just to boost numbers.
Grealish comes across as someone we've had on the back burner in case we don't get the players we actually want. I can't see any clear strategy considering we've reportedly got £150m to spend.
