Was he at Wolves ? Can't really remember much about him

Was there for a season on loan from Barcelona, now at Sporting Lisbon.

Left footed right winger, good dribbling and creativity. Ticks some of the boxes we seem to have been looking for.

He's probably the fall back option player we know we can afford if we can't get Dibling over the line.

With Dibling whatever we pay is going to have some degree of risk, so why wouldn’t we seek to get him on loan with an option to buy at x. If he does well, great we buy if not he stays there. They are probably eyeing up a return to the PL so this could be one way or meeting at a compromise value but de risks the transaction for us. The only issue is it wouldn’t give Southampton the funds to strengthen this year but their likely not to receive those funds the way the transfer has progressed so far.
