2025/26 Charly Alcaraz

I like him a lot, he's so positive and aggressive on the ball, plus I just like his vibes, seems like such a nice lad. Realistically for most of the season he'll be behind Grealish, Ndiaye, KDH and [new RW here] but he'll still get loads of minutes.

What a fantastic signing for 13m and to have as a rotation option imo. God it's going to be nice to have an actual good player come on as a sub.

Think he's a cracking player but he'll prob not get to play central with Grealish here now. Id have had no issues with him playing central this season. He's 22 as well so there is so much scope. I hope we dont mess this up coz he doesnt suit playing wide.

You can kind of see why we hmmed and hawed over signing him permanently earlier in the summer .....its kind of hard to see where he fits in beyond an impact player now.

I doubt hes in many peoples starting 11s for Monday.

Not my take on it mate to be honest. I thought it was a no brainer not to sign him up. Im going more with what i think Moyes will do rather than what i'd like to see.
I think Alcaraz is already under rated going by some of the comments.

Agree mate I’m glad we signed him, think he’s a talent, I just don’t know where he fits in now - beyond an impact player.

I'd have him in on Monday

Grealish Alcaraz Ndiyae

KDH and Gana sitting

At least until we get a starting RW, then I think Ndiyae goes back to the left and Grealish comes inside to the 10

Nice to have options though isn't it!

Cant argue with Grealish being favourite for the 10 position. Or the left wing position.

I hope Alcaraz continues to deliver exceptional transitional play this season and pushes Grealish all the way.

He'll get plenty of opportunities this season. Certainly one with a bright future if he continues to work hard. Having players like Grealish and Ndiaye around him in training will help him improve a lot. Hope we can add a few more, too.

I think he is an impact sub this season. Grealish and Ndiaye start before him for me.

I suppose in isolation that doesn’t seem wrong but I’m a big Alcaraz fan and really think he’d offer a lot to the team… just unforunate squad development if he’s on the bench while we have no right winger and uninspiring Garner is playing midfield

grealish can start lw so charly is central.
and these days its wonderful if the fwd line can play interchangeably to keep the oppo guessing
