There is a reason why it's called a market.
We have RBs, they aren't good. We don't have RWs, that is bad.Thats not true.
We dont have any.
Totally agreeIts not blind faith its just not in our control. I made my peace with the fact that in football sometimes just caring less makes you less stressed. If you can't have any bearing on the outcome which im assuming you don't, then why stress about it ?
From 28.20 onwards
I would seriously argue that failing on the RW front when the window shuts would be critical failure. It's been a major failure to not get a RW and a RB by the first league game. It will be a massive failure if they're not in place by the 2nd September.
Alcaraz hasn't really done anything exceptional yet to earn a start, and especially now since we have both Grealish and Ndiaye whose best two positions are both left wing or number 10... doesn't really leave any room for poor Carlitos who can really only play in number 10 role.
Dewsbury-Hall is more or less guaranteed to start every time he is fit, deffo. Much more rounded player than Alcaraz and better in virtually all aspects of the game.
I think Alcaraz would be a liability played deeper or shifted to the wing.
He's still young, can develop more and will anyhow get plenty of games this season as we always love picking up serious injuries early into the season which keep key players out for months.
That's ok Sir, you're welcome to respectfully disagree and I wish you a pleasant and restful night's sleep.
I think Alcaraz is more of a ten whilst KDH is more of a 8 who can play 10, different profiles really and you need options. I agree he doesn't suit a wing though his skills are driving with the ball and slipping others in he will be a off the bench and in rotation in my view. I would like to see Grealish or Alcaraz at ten and KDH at 8 in some home games...
See above some mad Football Manager scouting here![]()
I know he's played him a bit further forward than Garner in the last 2 friendlies but Gueye did just win our player of the season playing as our deepest midfielder
Think a little harsh on Alcaraz, been poor in pre season but he's got a goal or an assist in each of his last 3 starts in the Prem and was class in that last match against Newcastle
I think we could and should be further ahead with our recruitment than we are. We knew more than 6 months ago just how many new players we would need.
It's not like our only options were wait till August or sign Jack Harrison. The lack of progress with right back and right wing is pretty frustrating because everyone knew they were priority positions. The team is in desperate need of more pace to help us be more of a threat going forward.
I'm very happy with the Grealish signing but it's a little bit different. He was a player who was no longer wanted by City. Most clubs want to keep their best players and prices keep going up as it gets late in the window. Especially now everyone knows we want to spend a lot of money (but maybe not 50m) on Dibling.
Already certain journalists making excuses for our lack of a right winger, we are reaching the realms of oh there's nobody left oh they couldn't afford it oh its all too hard...Its like the seven stages of grief
Paddy Boyland worryingly on the blue room
I don't think it's harsh. One of Ndiaye or Grealish still ultimately be first choice at number 10 for us this season and then Alcaraz's mum wouldn't say he's anywhere near them in terms of quality. We'll sign a right winger, that leaves no room for Alcaraz to start.I know he's played him a bit further forward than Garner in the last 2 friendlies but Gueye did just win our player of the season playing as our deepest midfielder

It's fine, he's young and has plenty of time to become a regular for us in the future.
Mcneil - Grealish - Ndaiye.
There you go. Not a massive panic on a right winger. Those three will work well together.
I'm stating Everton will sign a right winger that will start games.Alcaraz is excellent on transition in the 10.
Ndiaye hasnt shown anything at 10. He has on the left, but not at 10.
Were yet to see Grealish play at 10. We dont know if hes going to be amazing or terrible.
Alcaraz is a great player. Not sure why you dislike him or claim he hasnt done anything. Did you not watch him last season???
Great player.
