Excuses, why?

….i don’t think it’s an issue, it’s an opinion. Some will think it’s been poor, others think it’s ok. My own view is, the window closes at the end of the month, still plenty of time left. Seems more in your camp.

Having a different opinion is not an ‘issue’, there’s no right or wrong at this stage. Time will tell if it’s been a good window.
This!
We are all frustrated but some of us don’t need to post 20 times a day that we need a right winger
some people are getting to hysteria levels and it’s weird, boring and weak tbh

I’m looking forward to a few new signings, I’d have rathered them earlier but it hasnt happened. We can all see that they’re trying

I’d argue it’s the best transfer window we’ve had in years when you look at what we’ve done the past decade. The issue now is not money or ambition, but how poorly we’ve been performing for years in complete decline and reputation. We’ve got to change that and we are.

If we had the winning ways of a top 10 side, I think the point is stronger about being a poor transfer window. Given where we are, I’d say well done on who we brought in and who we dumped out that was overdue. You don’t attract the likes of KDH, Barry, and Grealish if they aren’t seeing that upswing from last season. Players know and they take note.

‘Weird , Boring and Weak
That would make a great title for a book chronicling Everton’s journey since 1995.

Spot on @Bally1989 these mediocrity accepting yellowbellies make me sick.

To be honest we have valid complaints about some things relating to transfers and stadiums, I still think we need another striker. I think there's valid complaints about stadium, but you have some people just complaining for sake of complaining. But this is ultimately all about fact that it has been crap to support Everton for years, so we are naturally a pessimistic bunch. Other than when we got to final in 2009, that was last time, I felt our team genuinely couldn't have done better. There's an inbetween fans between being a happy clappers and a bedwetter. I think most fans on here are in that category.

This is what I meant with it being so so tiresome this summer, infighting and trying to act the bigger blue

It’s not been a terrible window, nor has it been a good one yet, it’s been average. We’ve made some good signings, we’ve made a bad call keeping on two players and we’ve not addressed the right hand side

There are huge grounds for being positive, the stadium being the biggest, we actually look in a healthier shape financially for the first time in years, we actually have owners who have a clue on business rather being an accountant for a money launderer

Opinions are just that, if people want to have some positivity after 3/4 years of worrying if we’ll even be in the PL then let them do so instead of acting high and mighty wanting everyone to be abjectly negative and miserable

Why is admitting Everton are poor in literally every department an issue for some.

Is it because they enjoy the dopamine rush of a like on the internet by someone called GOAT gives them?

Is it because admitting Everton are poor would mean they might have to do something other than happy clap?

If they do that are they worried they will get called Kopites?

Is being bad a badge of honour that they can boast about?

I really need to understand the psychological reasoning behind the constant excuse making in our fanbase.
@Goat ??
