Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

New stadium will start to kick in after we’ve played there so from perhaps next season onwards so we won’t get an immediate windfall.

The women’s team was probably sold less than what the asking price is for Dibling.

So apart from players leaving with none leaving with a significant fee I would argue that the PSR concerns are still there.

It gives us immediate headroom. The club already have knowledge of ST money, including seasonal hospitality. We have the HD sponsorship, Aramark deal. From this they'll have a good idea what can be spent in this FY and not break psr when it comes to finalising the accounts next June.

It really has gone cold. I’ve seen very little in the way of articles on this. If I were them, I’d take the best offer and invest in 2 or 3 players instead of resting all hope in Dibling. If he gets hurt, they might be in League 1, whereas having some depth would be better imo.

This season's revenue from the new stadium will apply to this season's PSR calculation. May I ask how you know what the women's team was probably sold for?

Ndiaye or Alcaraz at times, of course he will play and rotate in and out but he isn't an automatic starter mate, its obvious at 19 he isn't fully developed we are paying for potential of the next seasons and a potential sell on, if we get him. That is my point its alot to ask a 19 year old to come in and be our right wing hope on his own and yes he has big potential but it is a gamble and that is seemingly the road the club has chosen. I hope it works but it is a gamble as is not bringing in two right wingers if that is the case.
.

I don't agree tbh mate. 50 million pound players are expected to be capable of holding down a starting place imo.

If we could include Patterson in a cash plus player deal to sign him it would be good business all round. We get our RB, Southampton get a direct replacement along with cash to strengthen a couple of other areas, and Patterson takes a step down but will be a starting RB instead of taking up a seat on the bench every week. Could put Patterson back in the frame for a Scotland place.

It’s reported that the sale of the women’s team is between £40-60m which is the ball park figure of what Southampton are asking for Dibling
