Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Thierry Small. Another of our previous players doing bits today.albeit in the Championship.

Might also be the right time to offer Keane to West Ham. He'd actually help shore them up. 🤣

Once our actual transfer business is done, I hope we don't see our name mentioned in the relegation thread again, as we will be absolutely fine.

A few teams even if they do more business , I don't think they will get better players in. eg Bournemouth and the Hammers and maybe Fulham. I expect our business to end up far superior to those teams even though we have been relatively slow out of the blocks.

They are charging about 50 mil with a massive chunk up front so there is a big difference. They want the whole cake. If Broadhead balls out, he can actually make them money. Chances are Dibling will not even be a 60-70 mil player and we are paying based on potential and age. He would have to be world class to demand that fee.
I meant the concept of having a percentage sell on clause.

Something that is often overlooked with our own players.
Maybe this is the way to go.

Is why i have been frustrated with us the window just making a few more quality ones and we could really jump up the table.

I can see that Sunderland team doung well early doors. They counter attack well.

Growing trend of all the teams who got a load of business done early beating all the sides yet to strengthen. Wonder if there's anything in that
This. And those clubs are the protected holy 6 whose finances dwarf all other clubs because they can skirt the rules, sell their own hotels to themselves, and immediately offer ridiculous salaries to their first choice again and again 5 seconds after the window opens. The rich get richer and the strong teams get stronger. It hurts the game.

Well erm no, Sunderland are one of them.

Nothing changes if the money keeps rolling in mate. Those involved with the rest of the teams will still be getting their nice salaries.
Remember this?

“We don’t want too many Leicester Citys.”
