Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We've sat and watched over the last few seasons as other sides have picked up players while we were hamstrung due to psr and Usmanov getting sanctioned.
And now when we have finally came out the other side we are dawdling.
Every game is 3pts and could mean the difference between European qualification, relegation and at very least financially £3m per final league position.
'If' we are struggling to conclude deals for targets we want over a few million here and there it's a short sighted view, especially if we end up buying our 2nd/3rd choice for not far off the price of our no1 targets.

It's really hard to work out how far apart the valuations on but if it's 2/3 mill for someone moyes clearly wants us so short sighted

Lads, we’re definitely signing more players. Given the number of deals needed we were never, ever signing everything needed by this stage of the window. But we’ll sign at least most, if not all, of the players needed to have a decent crack at the top half/European slots this year.

Remember the year or two when we desperately needed signings and made literally none? Yeah, this is not that. Let’s please chill and enjoy the ride. Please?
Exactly right mate.
Paranoia has set in , due to previous mismanagement , sadly.
Oh , and the usual overly hysterical doom mongering from some on here.

Just watched Moyes presser . Look throughly hacked off with the amount of unsuccessful bids we have been making .
Do you think he’s upset with the club trying to lowball every approach or the inflated fees we have been quoted ?
I think it could do with the quality/potential of players we have been bidding for (minus tete), which is good I guess. But he must be annoyed or atleast pushing for more action which we need. Moyes said we need more players then the club gives him tom king after also tarvers... Only 3 more off Moyes 10 target.

Mate evidently I think a lot of your stance just ultimately boils down to not rating Garner or indeed Tim Iroegbunam - which is entirely subjective but is, of course, your opinion.

Regardless of the current situation - with over two weeks of the window still to go, we're already clearly in better shape than we have been for a long while with the signings we've made thus far. It doesnt have to be all doom & gloom because we're yet to secure an out-and-out RW or loaned a DM. This summer, addressing all of our needs in one go would've always been considered particularly exceptional and probably a tad unrealistic if we're being honest here..

The hyperbole suggesting the opposite is exhausting.
Agree but to not fix the pace issue and getting a right sided winger is a fail cant really put a spin on that imo. Esp with two having left in the summer, certain positions and players van understand why have taken longer kdh and grealish for example. And even bringing in another cm even tho i think need an upgrade maybe a loan player comes in the market later, same with a rb. But rw is like the cf position this window is at the very top of the list
