I was desperate for us to sign McAtee and now angry to see him go to Notts Forest. He will probably have a breakthrough season at Notts Forest and might even put himself in contention for the World Cup squad.
Same as you, was really hoping we'd see him sign for us. I wonder if we even made any offers or enquiries?.
Maybe it's because I'm a bias blue but I don't see the attraction to foorballers going to play their football at places like Forest, very run of the mill club, I see European football is there this season.
Look back 12 months where they are average at best.
Aren't we a better proposition, going to a footballing city, new stadium, fresh challenge, exciting times.
Must be me being Bias I guess !!@

Europe this season and, all things considered, they objectively have a better chance than us achieving it next season. That'll be their draw.

They may be offering silly wages too, which they're banking on paying through Europe, but whether that's sustainable as a club is another matter entirely.

I think I stated on here before, I couldn't understand Gibbs-White went there either, I know we were really in the pits at that time, but the North West is a hot bed for football, big stadiums , huge clubs, and these players choose Leicester and Derby as their big rivals.
Clearly blue tinted glasses , I must be.

wood scores two and their new winger ndoye also on his debut
and then they go sign anor new striker from rennes

we need the likes of edu recruiting for us
I still think they will become unstuck at some point with their finances; all things considered, while I hope we spend, I can't take another financial mess.
