Cashing in while they can it seems. They still have a few good players but I’d be worried if I was them. Half their first team has gone. The keeper they spent a good chunk on can be shaky. Dark horse to go down this season for me.

Yeah it’s all well and good being a selling club but getting rid of four starters in one summer is risky business, they’ll have to get the replacements spot on.

End of next season he has 12 mths left on contract.
The power shifts to the player, he sits it out he gets the money the club gets nothing.
The club play hardball with any club that wants him ,
All they have to do is tell the player to hang in there we will buy you, big wages , signing on fee ect, Southampton get nothing , he will just go through the motions for that season as not to risk the move.
He will still be young and have more money than he has ever dreamed of.
Look at what Barkley did with us same thing cost us millions.

Still nearly 3 weeks left till the window closes (18 days). I think we will get another 3 or 4 players including a right winger and right back. Clubs are demanding ridiculous prices currently and we cannot be held to ransom but i am still fairly optimistic we will get what we need before the window closes.
