Well that's just your opinion man I think he's decent and would bolster our midfield, thrived under Moyes

He would start for us in midfield next to Gana while also providing cover for lb as he’s an upgrade on all 3 you’ve mentioned there as well. Would be a great signing if he was available.

Think thriving is a stretch. He’s serviceable and would be a depth piece but don’t think he’s any better than Garner which should be the bare minimum for whatever midfielder we bring in.

Hes not extraordinary but would benefit the team. Its not whether he's better than Garner it's that he's a different type of midfielder profile that we're lacking , we need a defensive mid that can sit back provide additional coverage and not roam like Gana tends to do , garner is more box to box. Even if it's not Alvarez we need a DM in that mold
