Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

It's a lot of money, but Everton only have one chance to sign this lad. Once this window passes, he's basically out of our reach.

Equally, once Dibling is through the door, the club have an opportunity to take advantage of this insane market by selling McNeil. I'd love to keep him around, but there's a decent chance we can nearly double our money on him.
we need the squad depth I think it would be poor decision to sell him, despite the lucrative selling market

If you were him would you care.
He has been stopped from a big move by his club massive wage increase, playing in a lower division
If you were offerd a better job ten times the wages and your boss stopped you would you put the effort in?
I know I wouldn't ,
i would just go through the motions till I got out.
I would be made up if someone put that much effort in to join Everton myself .
If he turned out good I wouldn't care what his former clubs supporters thought.
Not for me .
It would be a disappointing way for a player to behave .
Disrespecting the supporters who pay their hard earned cash to see someone acting like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
Academic anyway I very much doubt he would act this way .

It's going so far away from the fans.
It's just basically all about money with the odd blimp like Leicester getting rarely happening.
At some piont its going to come to a shuddering halt, couple of big clubs going bust.
I am honestly getting less intrested by the year.
Let’s face it, PSR was brought in to maintain the position of the top 6. It has killed the hope of so called lesser teams challenging. It is absolutely ludicrous that the world’s richest club (Newcastle) had to sell players last summer to avoid sanctions. Likewise Villa had just qualified for the CL but had to sell Luiz.
Alternatively we see the likes of Chelsea and City spending 100s of millions despite being found guilty of financial irregularities. Then you’ve got United. Ratcliffe has ripped the heart out of that club with the redundancies he’s made, hard working dedicated staff who’ve lost their jobs, whilst the club spend over 200m this summer with yet more likely to come.
We’ve had a major boost with the new stadium to look forward to, but the PL with their rules, will ensure it will be difficult to break the monopoly of the big 6 for the foreseeable future.

There is something wrong somewhere.
We have needed a rightback for years.
It's like arsenal last year everyone knew they needed a striker but they riding get one madness.
There are points where our club literally says "we can make do" they choose to make do at right back
