The two sites reporting it seem to be Football Insider & Football Fan cast.

I've never heard of either, but I've looked at Football Insider and one of their columnists is the social media lead for AFTV and Football Fan Cast have a 'Evergreen content lead' and a senior editor who lists shouting 'GERRRAARRD' on the street under a heading marked "favourite player".

The writer of the peice on football fancast is a guy in his early 20s who is a Liverpool fan who naturally lists his expertise as "Transfer Focus, Newcastle United, Everton"

On football insider the writer is a man who has willingly chosen to look like a serial killer on his profile picture.

So both seem highly credible.
