Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Difference is they cost more or everyone knows about them now, I do agree though a few rough gems would be welcome
They do cost more, the £5-£10m is really now £10m-£20m you would think. Maybe that’s where I’m wrong if the Omari Hutchinson’s of this world are being touted at £35m, perhaps that market doesn’t exist now, but he’s hardly an unknown……
Maybe we’re seeing the fruits of Chelsea and City etc hoovering up all the young talent….. makes the Dibling and Hutchinson’s costs look like quite the gamble though.

While it is terrible, it appears we have tried for 7 mainly high profile players for this position and either they will not come (not our fault) or, their club puts to high a value on them - again not our fault. If ANY of these criteria had been dropped in our favour then NO ONE would be moaning as we would have a quality RW.
As painful as it is, the club have tried to get high-bar right wingers which we all want but for reasons beyond their control - it aint happening (yet - it will).

I hear you - we need 2 RW's, go for the easier back up/has potential RW then shoot for the moon.

There are (naturally) more players who fit that criteria than the world beater criteria.

Think the original source is Fichajes which I believe is pretty poor in terms of reliability.

I wouldn't be too shocked if he does ask to leave this summer though, Sociedad are a really defensive team under their current manager and he might be a bit sick of it.
Yeh, states us, wham spurs and others interested
Zero quotes obvs

RB isn't understandable to me at all. Coleman is basically a coach at this stage and we all know Patterson isn't good enough. That leaves us with JOB who is also having to fit in at CB if needed.
We have 4 players who can play there, and the current tactics that worked last season require a RB who can slot in at CB when we're under pressure.

We also have 4 players who can play RB, with 2 or 3 natural RBs (for our tactic) (depending on your views on JO'B) and Garner is more than capable at RB - we have ZERO natural RWs.
