I flagged this back in July as there is one at our local arena. The one time we used it two of us went through on just my card, as directed by staff at the barrier, and only what i lifted was charged.

They need the area properly staffed, with trained staff, which kind of defeats the purpose. Better with a standard bar in the long run.

The club will be all over this now. Anything that gets in the way of or compromises flogging to fans they'll have the brains trust onto.

Fans looking to get answers to whether they've been successful or not in a ticket ballot etc - not so much.

You know it’s silly season when people are arguing over two pints, both paid for, being drank at the ground.

The system may have its faults, but equally this is what test events are for - the club being able to iron out procedures etc.

The feller's paid for what he and his son consumed...and he's getting pelters for it.

I’m not even sure what’s gone on here. Someone went in, seemingly their son followed them. They picked up two beers, got charged for them but are complaining they had to pay. I don’t really get it.

For anyone that drove, what was your experience like and any tips?

Travelling approx 50 miles so ideally don't want to park in Liverpool one.

Mount Pleasant car park is only £6 a day. Handy for Lime St. or Central stations.

Joking aside, I think we can all agree that sometimes people think that technology is great, when in fact it is there to solve a problem that never existed.

There’s a multi storey in Princes Dock which has 750 spaces and is only about a 15 minute walk.

this is now like an old wives site, little squabbles going on, , at the end of the day we have had 3 test events, these are played to iron out any problems, we,ve waited over 20 years for a new stadium, so a few games finding out problems isnt to long to wait,

Thing is my Son followed me through I picked up 2 pints and passed one to him on the way out. Because you have to exit through a turnstile, I don't know what I've actually done wrong, I've never used that system before, the Girl on the turnstile never stopped my Son following me in and to my knowledge there is no sign saying you can't follow someone in. So I've found out tonight you can not tailgate.

Your haven’t done anything wrong and nor is entering that space with your lad or a mate for that matter, whether that’s tailgating or if they do their own swipe is neither here nor there. It’s the same system they have in stores and not every person entering them is made to swipe if part of a group.

The system seems to be flawed or at least not best suited to a stadium environment as others seem to have apparently been over charged.
