I expect he's following the Armstrong path so that will be the question come January. He'll be expected to play most of the national league cup, EFL trophy and European games for the 21s plus another youth cup campaign, that should be a nice varied season with lots of opportunities for lower league scouts to see him.

Yes, one that isn't 17.
That's a fair point but I think there's different and then there's different. Going from Beto and Barry to a 5ft7 18 year old just doesn't sound like something Moyes would remotely do.
I expect the different profile he's looking for is more of a hold up forward but likely still 6ft+
