My main reason for not being sold on it, is precisely that we need numbers as well as quality. Our PSR issues are reduced, but it’s still a factor. Grealish isn’t going to be on small wages, so it’s possible that signing him as a short term option might mean we don’t sign two longer term options.
Obviously it’s a trade off between quality and quantity. We need both ideally. If Grealish’s wages mean we go in to the season with a thin squad, that’s not good. Hopefully the guys doing the accounting are doing a better job that in the last five years.
Appreciate you explaining your stance rather than just replying with an insult as many do.

….was thinking earlier and reminded myself of a very young Grealish playing against the RS at Wembley and running the show. Hopefully I’m not imagining it but I think Villa actually won the game.

Yes I think they did. Sherwood was their manager I think. He was brilliant that day (Grealish not Sherwood)

…..the top players are expected to work hard and usually do. Teams work hard on what they do out of possession, especially the best teams.
True and no one wants a player who doesn't work hard, tracking back and working hard aren’t the same thing, Moyes will want Grealish to 'track back' i.e. enough to keep defensive shape and of course he will also want him to work hard.
