Where to sit in the new ground?

Dont go in a seat with safe standing rails in front of them.

The leg room is poor.
Where have you got this from? I'm over 6 foot and had plenty of leg room. There's nothing there that could have possibly cause lack of room, because of the steepness the top of the seat infront was near my feet.

Pissed me off people sat, hope it's not the same for proper games.

South stand, and I'm 6'1".

I changes seats to a non-standing rail one and the difference was telling.

Those steps are not wide enough to do a safe standing barrier with comfort.

Certainly not my experience there. My mate in the East Stand complained about leg room so I sent him a pic of the ample leg room I had.

I'm 5'8" and sat there for 1st test and thought the actual rails themselves got in way of knees IF you sit down.
Clearly if you've opted to go in there to STAND it shouldn't be an issue although in every ground they are an absolute pain if you wish to pass people in the row.

I was in the north lower and loads of leg room and space but think tickets be hard to get so would just take whatever can get. All looked great views from what i have seen from other people seat views

Don't know that you really have a lot of choice about where (unless you are planning on getting one of the premium seat offers, and the lowest priced one of those puts you near the away fans).

You could do what I am doing, use Forever Blue + membership and enter the ballots. Last time I went for South Upper and North Lower but didn't get a ticket anyway. I think both of those might be full of season ticket holders, though, so you might be better going for East or West (remember to read the wording carefully about whether you want to extend your choice if your chosen areas are unavailable!).

Or you could try the ticket resale thread here - but again you would need to be a member.
Are the Seat Unique seats next to the away fans?

Thanks, that's helpful. I'm a Forever Blue member.

I am a Forever Blue + member. But still don't understand, as I have not tried it yet, the "ballot" thing.

You get to enter a ballot (you got the email for the Brighton game?) on certain Mondays some time before home matches. You have two days or so to enter and you can choose two preferred areas (not blocks) to sit in. You can also ask for them to choose a ticket in another area if you have been unsuccessful in your chosen areas. Then you are notified (theoretically, I don't think this happened with the Brighton one in time) if you have been successful before the sale is opened up to Forever Blue non-+ members and tickets start to get released on resale. After that it is just luck with resale or go for the Premium offers.
