Id definitely be keen on Alvarez as we need another Defensive midfielder along with rw and rb. Preferably a defensive midfielder who can sit back and be a defensive anchor rather than active chaser of the ball like Gana
Think we only have one PL loan left, so not sure they’d use it on him, but that Portuguese CDM Chelsea have would be perfect cover. No way he’s getting any minutes there.

Back on topic, I think Dibley comes in, an average right back and another striker from out of the blue. Let's hope it's in time to at least be on the bench at Leeds. We're progressing well in my opinion in the window.

Yeah DM I'd imagine would be loan of some sort also.
The footy dreamer would say Bove - but even before what happened he'd actually been playing more right side than DM for Fiorentina. Still think he should be a "why not" pickup though.
Big worry besides the right side is that spot - Gueye eventually will fade and it's probably gonna be rapid when he does finally, and if it happens this year with only Garner there then....

He can't mate, he passed all medical tests as of last month. But the Italian rules forbids anyone with that implant playing again.
So he's gonna have to move somewhere sooner or later.
As I said it's be a good pick-up for ya as long as it was just an extra thing rather than counting on him to fill a need, worst case he trains a year then moves on - wages are t much anyway, best he fully recovers and we have a very good versatile player for nowt whose only 23/24
