Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

If they put him in and he refuses to be included that would strengthen our hand
It would, but it also doesn't sound like he's the type to do that. Seems like him training away and not featuring has been more Southampton's decision than Dibling's, though obviously he has expressed a desire to make the move. If it doesn't happen, I highly doubt he goes full Isak over it.

The idea that Southampton are going to send us ONE FINAL OFFER!! tomorrow is absolutely insane too btw, but I love the sound of it. If it is somehow true, and it is even a slight compromise on the last FINAL OFFER!! then Everton would be wise to accept it very swiftly.

According to Toffee tv looks like Southampton will make us a final offer on Dibling tommorow, if we don't accept it then Dibling will be going back into the team to face Ipswich on Saturday, this has come off the Peoples Forum site.

Why are Southampton making offers to us?

It shows they want to sell the player but they also need to be sensible if they want us to keep negotiating

According to Toffee TV who then say its via Fab , who says the deal could still happen. its then said according to journalists in the south they want a decision. Most are just rehashing news and putting their own spin

Pleasingly Southampton are playing Northampton.
Dyche's son plays for The Cobblers. Hopefully Sean will be in Dibling's ear giving us the hard sell. That's how it'll go down.

Possibly.
Hopefully only on Tyler’s radio. I wouldn’t want Dyche going anywhere near him in person, or telling him how many problems the club had before he came here. Then he whips out his phone videos, smiling on from the touchlines while young athletes throw up without a football in sight.

Brinkmanship is at play

This "offer" they're making must be a better deal for us then.

If they are all so confident he will be as good as they think, then that should be reflected in the various add-ons and performance milestones - appearances, goals, England caps, Champs League games etc.

At the moment there is nothing concrete to back this up. If they value him at a total package of £50m + 25% sell on then it's the sell-on I find unacceptable as we bear all the risk and should have all the reward.

£40m guaranteed + £10m add-ons + 10% sell-on. Or £40m + £15m add ons and no sell-on. It's easy this lark. :)

Tell you what, if Southampton make us an offer for us to make for a Southampton player and we accept it, this immediately jumps up to near the top of the list of "weirdest Everton transfer sagas"

They were reportedly wanting 100 million a few months ago and surely had visions of united and Liverpool ready to compete for him. Unfortunately for them he hurt his ankle. I’m sure they are bitter their plan didn’t okay out.

The thing is he doesn’t seem like a player they really want to keep. They just want more money from some phantom team. Hopefully they realize they aren’t going to get what they want and come back at 45 with 10% sell on.

Is this the first time ever that the selling club is coming back in with a second offer to the club interested.

….Fofana for me but he looks like he’s best playing off the left.

Franculino Dju is one I like, his size and physicality means he can also play centrally which is a real bonus, I’d be happy to see us linked more seriously but assume he’s further down our list.
Fofana linked today with a move to Bayern as they are selling Coman to the Saudis

Agree, it’s Everton who’ll turn him into a ‘£100M player’. His ceiling with Southampton is limited, with all due respect.
