Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Vinnie o Connor outside Finch Farm discussing more business after Grealish. Said the same lines as the others, Dibling unlikely and it’ll need Saints to budge on price, and interestingly he said we’ve run in to exactly the same problems with Leicester and Fatawu which is disappointing.

We can’t start the season with such a gaping hole in the squad.

We also lack depth - one or two injuries and it will be very difficult.

Saints are within their rights of course, but do they need the money or not? Because they’re playing a dangerous game if they do. If they don’t and they’re comfortable with keeping all their players, then fair play to them.

They had 2 players that they value at £100m and were the 2nd worst premier league team of all time. Beggars belief how bad the rest of the squad must be

Now that we've brought in KDH and Grealish can Moyes stop frothing over Prem experience please?
It's like player who are English, it adds and instant premium to any deals making them higher risk, we had had just as many Danjumas and Harrisons come with pl exp and underwhelm as we have Roysten Drenths and Per Kroldrup. Some managers put too much stock in it.

Disappointing but not surprising. Like Dibling we can't be held to ransom. If a club like Utd were interested they would do it cheaper and quicker.

I hope the time wasted doesn't come back to bite us on this. They have to look elsewhere.

I think with any young, exciting prospect their club are going to want good money for them.

You see that’s the problem isn’t it? We’ve all complained about the price of the beer at the new place and now Boards of other football clubs up and down the country think we are coining it and they can fleece us on price. If only those beers weren’t so damned expensive.
