But he wore a vest with once a blue always a blue!!!If players like Siggy force a move to join us we throw flowers at his feet.
But, if players like Rooney force a move away from us we call them traitors and scum.
Not hypocritical at all.

He has two years on his contract as well, if you don’t sell him this window, you have an unhappy player, who will run down their contract and you are loosing prob 10 mill every 6 months on.
That’s why I think this gets done, because it doesn’t make any sense for it not to.

We were always after both of them. And Southampton may not have a choice but to come back with something more suited to our terms.I'd have just assumed that a portion of the Dibling money would have gone on the Grealish loan. Without knowing exactly how much money TFG are prepared to throw at this window, its impossible to say how true that is. No doubt we still have interest in this lad, but I doubt Southampton will be willing to lower their valuation. I just cant see it getting over the line. It might come down to the player handing in a formal request to nudge things along.
No on GnotoThink they need the money mate and it would appear he wants to move.
Although there are direct parallels to the fruitless pursuit of Big Willy Gnotto from Leeds here too.
Not necessarily. All depends how they set up. Not actually that many teams that use an orthodox right winger like that now.I hope he was an alternative to Grealish, because they're very similar, except Jack is about 100 leagues above him. The RW is crying out for speed and someone that carries it to the byline, we have nobody of that profile.
….yep, it’s not as if they hold all the aces. I can only think they’re hoping another club comes in but we appear to be the only suitors.
Now I feel awful!Sure someone said he’d had a stroke
Premiership and championship. Big difference. Of course they are correct to get as much as possible and are going to play it like that. If the suiters go elsewhere and fill that position then their valuation comes down. They will sell just to whom and how much are the questions. What's all this talk about Southampton moving on their valuation?
We didn't last season with Branthwaite amid all the Man Utd talk.
Why is this different just because we are on the other side of it?
They don't have to move their valuation, its entirely up to them. The player is under contract so they can keep him if they want. What's all this talk about Southampton moving on their valuation?

The deal is not dead but Saints cant have all the cake and eat it. We would probably be willing to go to 40m but not with a 25% sell on clause. Saints want a bidding war but i dont see that happening TBH. A lot of clubs like Villa have PSR issues and the Sly 6 have not went in for him. Other clubs like Brighton and Bournemouth wont enter at the prices quoted. I think we can play the long game here or we will move on.That’s exactly what I think to mate, I think Southampton are waiting for another club to come in which would solidify their demands or maybe even an escalation. If that happens I don’t think we’d be sucked in - I think we have a value here.
Our position will be, we have a value - if Southampton don’t come back to the table, and no one else comes forward, they are left with an unhappy player on a short contract, depreciating in value. The other pressure is their need to reinvest a big fee - it’s huge for them to get the best chance of getting back to the PL and they will have a deadline on that as well.
So that's the brinkmanship and something has to give - wel have a deadline, they may to and we move on if sense doesn't prevail, i dont think anyone would be to disappointed with the Leicester lad. We are also well capable of going back in for him in Jan - when they might be in a more perilous position.
My understanding was our last offer was £37 mill. Which overall seems fair to me.
They can still ask for it.Simply.
Its the food chain, we can value Branthwaite at £80 mill because we are a big pemerement PL club.
Southampton cant look for £80 mill for Dibling because they are now a Championship club and hes a championship player.
The higher up the food chain you are the more you can ask for your players.
