Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

We ain’t buying someone else. We’re just trying to force Southamptons hand. He’s not training with the first team, he’s not playing, he’s not in their new promo shots for their new kit, he’s told them he wants to go, this will 100% get sorted.
I'd have just assumed that a portion of the Dibling money would have gone on the Grealish loan. Without knowing exactly how much money TFG are prepared to throw at this window, its impossible to say how true that is. No doubt we still have interest in this lad, but I doubt Southampton will be willing to lower their valuation. I just cant see it getting over the line. It might come down to the player handing in a formal request to nudge things along.

What's all this talk about Southampton moving on their valuation?

We didn't last season with Branthwaite amid all the Man Utd talk.

Why is this different just because we are on the other side of it?

…..they are in the Championship and likely have a player who wants to leave , big difference when a player doesn’t want to play for you anymore. Branthwaite signed a new deal for us.

Think they need the money mate and it would appear he wants to move.

Although there are direct parallels to the fruitless pursuit of Big Willy Gnotto from Leeds here too.

It would be different if Southampton want to sell and Everton didn't.

I think it's a bit different as Southampton seem to need to sell him to recruit. But, as you say, he's their player, they can value him at whatever they want.

If players like Siggy force a move to join us we throw flowers at his feet.

But, if players like Rooney force a move away from us we call them traitors and scum.

Not hypocritical at all.

He also has two years on his contract as well, if you don’t sell him this window, you have an unhappy player, who will run down their contract and you are loosing prob 10 mill every 6 months on him not being sold. You loose all your leverage and it then goes to the player and buying club, from this window onwards.

That’s why I think this gets done, because it doesn’t make any sense for it not to.

I hope he was an alternative to Grealish, because they're very similar, except Jack is about 100 leagues above him. The RW is crying out for speed and someone that carries it to the byline, we have nobody of that profile.
