Is your bar so low that you're comparing someone to Doucoure and are happy spending millions on loan for a 29 year old who's pretty much done nothing for the past few years?
Not at all, your calling out Grealish for low
Numbers when our own no 10 has stunk the gaffe out. You and I both know that Grealish is a serious upgrade on Doucouré and whatever numbers he had over previous years, has nothing to do with what he will deliver this year, in a different team, different system etc. he will enhance the game of others around him and Everton will absolutely be a better team for it.

Well the fact that you said Grealish stat's were better and when i showed they weren't your only resort was to moan about James's record since he left us. No one's bothered about a players record after they've left us!
Not sure I’ve mentioned any stats on f grealish’ can you show me where please.

What’s his stats for giving you more control of a game? What’s his stats for taking pressure off the team by protecting the ball? What’s his stats for making space for other players when defenders double up on him?

People need to watch football rather than read numbers.

Some people need to get off Championship Manager or whatever it’s called nowadays.

Inverted full backs, false 9’s , CAM’s and all that bollocks.

My mate who is a Villa fan says he doesn't get that many goals/assists as he is more about building up the play. Said he gets loads of 'second assists' and is a selfless, team player.

He'll be the one laying it off to our rapid wingers who cross in for the strikers to score!
I think that works if we actually get the rapid wingers you’re talking about. I think he will do well even if we don’t.

My concern about the new signings this summer is how they'll blend in to a team.
We've signed a 6ft5 striker with 3 skillful midfielders behind him in Grealish, Ndiaye & Alcaraz. Are they going to create the kind of chances that Barry will thrive on?
We either need long balls in to the big man or good crosses from behind the defence.
I suspect Grealish providing balls in to feet that split through the defence will suit Beto a lot more.
