Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

So why’s he claiming to be privy to other signings? The mad basterd.
Im not sure hes claiming to know of other signings, I think hes just confident they will happen based on the news. He seemed to be insistent on Grealish from the start as if he knew it. This seems different, where he just is rebuffing someones negative about positions we still lack.

Ndiaye - Grealish - ?
McNeil - Alcaraz - ?
Armstrong

KDH Gana
Tim Garner

I’m afraid DM will play Alcaraz wide but I’m convinced Grealish will play central rather than wide. The 3 behind CF may all rotate around, but we still need some pace.

RWs still vital. RB needed or CB depth if we commit JOB to RB.
I think it will be Grealish left, Dewsbury-Hall as the most forward midfielder, and Ndiaye on the right.

Grealish and Ndiaye would want to occupy the same position on the pitch - coming into the centre from the left - so Ndiaye would be moved across the pitch to accompany him.

Suddenly look drastically lightweight at both left & right back now. How long Myko looking likely to be out for (groin tear?).

Don't mind O'Brien doing right back. Left back there's no experienced/reliable cover. Not expecting Seamus to play 90 every game. And what happens if lose O'Brien to injury!?
Is there really anything "suddenly" about it?

This also doesn't account for the fact I think we've changed formation to a 4-3-2-1, with our 'wide players' allowed to sit more centrally and drift wide at will - essentially we have 2x no.10s who transition into LW/RW with KDH shifting from an 8 to a 10 on the attack.

This is how we're going to get the best out of both NDiaye and Grealish - give them both the freedom to roam as a 10/LW/RW hybrid and how you get the best out of KDHs work rate as a box to box then a 10 on the break
Yeah this sounds good compared to last few seasons.
Which probably means a midfield three of KDH-Gana-Garner.
The real worry here, as with other combos is Gana getting injured, playing too much.
