I've read various things about how much of his crazy wages we're paying.

Goodison News says £90k, other sources say £250k, some say £105 (source saying City pay 65%). Do we know?

The guy is a bell but that’s his job to be honest, triggering callers with the contradictory nonsense he spouts.

His wife is an even bigger hand grenade too
I'm not sure.

Players who cost £100M don't get farmed out on loan unless there's an issue or two around them. Simon Jordan pointing out there's an element of risk and that there's a chance it won't be a success isn't a massively wild take.

Hopefully it all turns out well but it's not guaranteed.

I have my reservations, but not sure this is a valid point. He's had success at City, and been there for 4 years. Pep is always looking to evolve and his book value to City now is less than £20 million, and if you think City care about anything other than book value and how it might affect their bottom PSR line, then you're sadly mistaken.

He’s not being farmed out immediately after being signed for £100m.
It’s four years later.

But…the same element of risk exists in pretty much EVERY transfer ever. Not a wild take, but strange to get so riled up by the transfer as to even make the point in the first place.

It's TalkSport - they've got hours to fill about sport and nothing else. And since the sport that gets most engagement is football, specifically the Premier League, then of course they're giving takes on it.

Doesn't come across as particularly riled up. More riling up the more sensitive souls among every clubs fanbase who can't stand to hear anything but positivity about whenever their club is mentioned.
