I wasn't thrilled with the links to him. He is talented, but no-one has seen enough of that talent over the last few years. Not entirely his fault, but still.
For a loan, as long as we aren't paying stupid wages, it has potential to be good for everyone.

So now that Grealish is a reality, how do you think we will set up?
Grealish has mostly just played on the left where we have Ndiaye, and KDH is in the middle. Does Grealish go back to a 10 role like he was for Villa? Then where does KDH play, and whos playing the right side? Seems right now we have about 5 players for the LW and AM roles but no obvious ones for RW yet.

I am a bit lukewarm on this, but still very intrigued to watch him. Personally I am a little dubious what Jack we are getting in regards to output. A little interested if not worried on how he and Ndiaye work out that left side. The obvious assumption is one drifts to more of a 10? If Moyes is up for it, some interesting positional switching, overlap attacks could be designed between the two. But I also think theres a realm where they may step on each others toes. That said talents talent. Moyes has prioritized ball carriers and the attack should be very much improved.
I do feel strongly though that the holes on the right side (that will likely be filled) have to be on the younger end of things. Jack is a high swing for immediate impact. KDH is entering his prime but came on I think decent value. The club is moving ambitiously, thats fine but they have been wise to keep an eye on future seasons more than the one starting in a week. We can't fall into the Moshiri era mistakes of chasing immediate fixes.
That said I look forward to some more than likely great goals and assists from Jack. Welcome.

Some will say the price is jacked up but this Jack loan will be a mighty upgrade to the previous Jack loan.
Many were ready to Jack this club in the way things were going these passed seasons. Maybe now they will rethink and get jacked up, or maybe I don't know Jack about football.
