Well, it'll remind us not to get too attached to Jack if he does well.

Frankly, I'm happy with this. He will use us as a chance to play in a World Cup season without uprooting his family, while we will use him to immediately upgrade our midfield, image as a club, and send out a statement that New Everton in its shingy new stadium is a new proposition for players.

After the season, we upgrade again.

All of that mate, but also feel this changes the optics for us in the rest market and window as the immediate priority - this is a reputation changer in the market and when we do this a few head will turn. This will enable other deals getting over the line.

Yes, I would think so - assuming the money is there, of course.

Chuffed with a years loan signing, he has bags of ability that wasn't used by Pep. Can't see Moyes telling Jack to just get the ball and pass it sideways like he has mainly had to do at Man C115y

Jack’s medical must be soon. Time for @Tofeenut !

Slightly tongue in cheek but I see alot saying it’ll help attract others.

With the outlay on this deal, there might not be much of a budget left now for others?!

I’m fully behind it though, think we’ll enjoy him & he’ll enjoy playing for us too…
Well we’ve already bid for dibling so I think we’ve at least got that
