Seat unique

All true but you’re paying for convenience and a guaranteed seat. Paying a membership to enter a ballot when you’re still not sure if you’ll be successful to get a ticket is obviously not ideal. Not so bad for the locals, but for those travelling long distance who need to sort hotels and transport then IMO it’s worth getting a guaranteed seat sorted well in advance so all further plans can then be made.
Totally agree. For ease it’s definitely better.

I guess we don’t really know at this point how hard it will be to get tickets through the membership system. Depends how many have plumped for the top membership or the standard membership.

This is what I was thinking of doing to take my Dad to a game or two and I too noticed the weird disparity in pricing for some fixtures.

Village Street

v Bournemouth - £345
v Chelsea - £495
v Leeds - £595 ... What?!
v Suderland - £649 ... You what?!

I do find it funny how the 'better' teams are more expensive too. Because of course you really want to pay more to watch us get battered by City or Arsenal.

£649 v Sunderland…

Yes, you see the players in the tunnel, from the bar, through the one way glass, you basically get to sit next to David Moyes, in the racing car seats. it’s about £1200 per ticket for the home game against Brentford
I'm trying to figure out best way to take my missus and three kids to a game, if I got membership for everyone and applied for everyone in the ballot then there could be a danger that not all of us would get a ticket isnt there. Otherwise I would need to do this seat unique option which could be 5 x £150 a ticket plus a hotel and travel costs which could push it to around £1500

I’m actually grateful seatunique exists. Being able to just log on and buy a guaranteed ticket without any of the hassles of memberships and ballots is a godsend.
I agree. It's a bit of a premium but on occasion that's definitely going to work to make firm plans.

There is a chance that none of you would get a ticket. But if one of you gets your name pulled out of the tombola all your group get a ticket.
When I looked at the premium tickets with hotel packages they look better value than the stand alone premium ticket. When I look at the hotels for match days they are £300 a night for 2 folk. The sportbreak ticket and hotel for 1 night were about £550 for 2 folk with better seats than above away fans in north corner.

I think if you are only going to go to one game a season, pick your game now and book it, through seat unique, try and get the cheapest seats you can and before you book the seats check the train ticket costs (if you are going by train) and hotel costs and try and work out your overall cost.

I would only really recommend the membership if you are going on your own or maybe 1 other person and can go last minute, because as well as the ballot the club allow season ticket holders to sell their seat back to the club, but these are normally available the week of the game, so not great if you live far away and need to book a hotel. I think your chances of getting 5 seats sat together through the ballot are slim to none.

Just spotted now that they have released club view for the Brighton game. £200.
New stadium is a game changer for financials!!
I imagine there will be the bean counters in overdrive this season seeing how far they can push it for next season. ST and hospitality ST prices are looking a steal based on prices for members and premium offerings through seat unique.

Ill be away for some of these and mine will be available

Just booked premium seats for Villa in September. All went through quite smoothly eventually, after what must of been a bug didn’t process my order initially.
