Did the fact that we overpaid for Gylfi by say 10M matter in the long run? form a playing or fiancial pov.. Im sure some accountant on here can answer, but it didn't appear to make much difference from an uneducated perspective

It stands to reason that if you overpay for things you won't have enough money to buy other things that you need. Or you borrow like crazy, watch your finances fall through the floor, and suffer from points deductions. The general attitude of that time was one of overspending and Glyfi is right at the top of that list. We suffered immensely from PSR and I don't want financial indiscipline to crush us again.
