At best a loan out to a foreign League he does well in and then a quick sale as he's not gonna ever be the required standard I don't believe.

We should not be replacing just not good enough with slightly better just not good enough mate.

Yeah if “the sake” is that we have absolutely no midfield depth in the middle of August?

I don’t think you know what “for the sake of it” means do you, if we bought a new goalkeeper now then that’d be buying for the sake of it. Midfield is a position we’re desperately short in at a late stage of the window, this isn’t hard to understand.

Thank goodness we have professionals in charge of our budget. We could waste a lot of money on players who don’t improve us in any way.

We needed about 10 players so that's not evolution to me. This is a big opportunity to fully overhaul the squad and one we absolutely should want to take.

Not having a senior right wide player is not sensible and pragmatic to me. It's a failure to provide the manager with what he needs.

I expected a huge shift this summer compared with what we had seen under Moshiri because things have been absolutely terrible for years.

Did you expect every one of those 10 players to be an improvement over what we had before? because even you should surely know mate that that always would've been nigh on impossible given both budgetary constraints and pull....

He has, and been absolutely guff. He’s had one flukey season in the lower tier at the @rse end of his career and you suddenly think he's worth signing? Deary me

Most of them yeah. Our squad was really not good.

I expected us to sign clear upgrades in attack at the very least because we've not had quality there for years. We might still do that but its getting late now. It was a main priority for the manager.
