I'll repeat. I'm not saying by any stretch that we should bring him back.

What I said was that if the club did decide to bring him back as cover/back up/ substitute for someone like Dibling (for example), I wouldn't consider it to be stagnating.

His work ethic and defensive discipline are not what I look for in a winger/right sided attacker especially in someone so lacking creatively.
They are, however, useful traits at certain moments .

It’s effectively the same as paying £30m for a three-year contract — and that’s before even adding wages on top.

Hopefully a masterstroke: he gets a chance to have a proper look at us, we get a close look at him — and then he’s into the final year of his contract, potentially available for a nominal fee…

i agree for depth but Gana was player of the season last year and O’Brien was fantastic defensively whilst also getting forward ok as well towards the end… I actually think with Ndiaye, Grealish and Dibling we could do without much attacking ability from the full backs and focus more of defending from them

basically I think that’s a really good line up we just need more depth and options

Tell you what though, a bench with Travers, Aznou, Keane, Coleman, Garner, McNeil, Tim, Beto, Alcaraz on it is the best we’ve had in a long long time

No, great strikers want to score and want money. So they go to a club where they feel like they will be able to score a bunch, and then they will get a next big contract.

Wasting a loan slot on Harrison would be worse than wasting 5 million on him. You can get many better players than Harrison on loan, you can't get many better than him for 5 million.

Then please don't mention his name or spend the effort posting about him. Said it already people are obsessed with him, see previous posts. The only ones mentioning him anywhere are people on here. Moyes let him go that should mean something.

I've a feeling Delap will regret Chelsea. If money is his motivation I'm glad we never got him. Like you say, a striker should be hungry for goals.

That would be my concern. If we sign both Dibling and Grealish then you would imagine funds would be near depleted. In that instance and if any cash left I'd rather we used the loan market for DM backup and thats before considering RB.
