New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

North stand, Block 243, Row 45, Seat 270.

The concourse overcrowding I think is at least in part caused by the fact that the people in the South East side (& perhaps even North East) on levels 0 and 2 should be spilling round to the East side proper, where a good proportion of the capacity are catered for on levels 1 and 3.

Can anyone who was in that area confirm what the toilet/bar queues were like?

Much in the same way I was in block 206 and the queues just made that area a no go zone, when I walked along the terrace to use the 205 entrance, it already starts to open up wider and could at least use the toilets that weren't jam packed.

It could also be that some in the East also wanted to take a look at the south stand bar and windows over looking the city, exacerbating the problem.
I was in my seat in 214, the area around 213 was very congested due to the queues for flightbirds which was really long by the looks of it, but round the corner where the entrance came up there was a lot more space

I personally decided to leave that area and went to the through pass for a drink and a pie which was a pretty good experience - south stand bar seemed very busy but no different to park end really and my mate who got me a half time pint said it was quick to get served

My best mate is a spurs fan and had a few messages this morning, he said go me "Queues at our stadium still pretty bad in 30-45 minutes before kick off and around half time"

I think it will take some time to improve things but it will get there, I didn't think the toilet queues were that bad but seems to be a lot of toilets and some are small, there is one near 213/214 will 4 urinals

Edit - just to add - I agree with you about moving over to the East concourse but there isn't as many food places there, there is space for more things to crop up and you have the eBars and the through pass

Seen a few comments like this from the usual suspects, that the new ground wont have the atmosphere of Goodison so therefore we'll do worse.
I mean, we haven't even played a proper competitive game there yet, but what do they care about facts? The narrative has already been set. Expect more nonsense like this going forward.

Muppets simple as that. We’ve had one friendly with not a full stadium and being a friendly we’re hardly going to be roaring our players on and full on singing are we. Can guarantee the sound of us all when the prem kicks off and home matches will be unreal sound wise. Had a very fine glimpse when some did and the stadium was bare lol

Yes block 301, staff all seemed bewildered but free food and drink, I would hope the choices are improved when proper games, great view comfortable seats, entertainment one end of concourse

It's quite impossible for it to be an intimidating place at the moment, it's new, we have to create some history there first preferably by winning lots of matches, night match late winners etc and competing for trophies, I must say the one thing I did not like was the bigger space between the pitch sides and their adjacent stands - that part is definitely worse than Goodison and probably contributed to your feeling of it being non intimidating.

Where was the Everton identity IN the stadium? Everton/EFC on the seating etc, club need to sort that out and also bring our statues to increase the identity on the outside of the stadium - do these things and will feel more like home.
Because the sales pitch of close to pitch and intimidating was simply that a sales pitch.

There will be teething problems/issues, but I think that's inevitable in a new stadium. People will be finding their bearings and deciding, how to get there, where to get food and drink before and during the game. The views of the pitch are excellent wherever you sit. Any problems/issues will soon dissolve if, and when, we start winning games, nothing like a winning team to focus the mind.

View attachment 320722, Honestly,we tried twice. All I had was a grid pattern ‘map’ with a pic of rupertsbtower and a message saying we were in section c. There’s two ruperts towers and they’re miles apart and section c is just an unmarked area. There were hundreds of people wandering around not even sure if they were at the right end of the walkway let alone in the right section. It was such an Everton that thing imo

We still never found it

We need to be getting these things right, new era and all that
Thats the tower on the right.
